What is Life
By Faith E. Brown 6/11/06
Life: What is life but waiting for death, waiting for heaven,
And to be in the light of the Lord?
Life: What is life – sadness, crying, fear, frustration, darkness,
Fighting, pain, deceit, day after day.
Life: what is life? Yes, there are times of happiness,
Singing, friends, family, times of fellowship, sharing, dancing, laughing.
But what is life, really?
Life: what is life? Is it not God’s will for us to glorify Him alone?
For us to know that He is in control and we must trust in Him,
for He will take care of us.
Life: what is life?
Death, What is death? Fear, does not all fear come from fear of death?
But is death not leaving this world of evil to be with God?
And is that not a joyous thing?
I fear not, for I can’t wait for death. It’s not that I don’t want to live,
But that I want to be with God.
I wait, not in fear, but in delight, knowing some day I will be with the Lord.
I hope you are encouraged....i hope you understand this does not mean i want to die it just means i cant wait till i am with God!

Absolute truth
OK, a new post is well overdue. I have thought of something to post on.
"Absolute truth"
If there is no absolute truth, which is what most of America believes then anyone can believe anything.
Let me give you an illustration.
Bob says GOD is the true creator, but Frank says that the world was created by some totally random occurrence. Now both statements can not be true. Can they? They directly disagree.
Here is another one.
Bob, who believes in GOD, comes to a man that says that that you can get to heaven through any religion, which is in a tiny part true, and by good works, which is not even a teeny part true. Again both statements can not be true. can they? They disagree again.
Here is where thing get fun to try and explain.
The statement "there is no absolute truth" disagrees with itself. if there is no absolute truth than the statement "there is no absolute truth" can not be an absolute truth. Now haw dose that work? There can be absolute truth for me, and there can also be no absolute truth for you? That does not work!
Can my dog be sitting and laying at the same time? No!
I think I rest my case. Just be careful there are actually people that believe that, Like I said earlier, most of the America believes that.
this hole thing is from a book that my friend's mom was reading to us for there daily devotions called "Tearing Down Strongholds" I think. I revised it, made it my own, and put it in more simpler terms.
